Our occupational therapy department offers ergonomics assessments for those patients who have complaints of discomfort while performing tasks at the computer. An initial evaluation is completed through a comprehensive review of the patient’s positioning at their work station and their positions during specific tasks. Follow up is performed after the patient has initiated the recommended changes. During these sessions, patient may also receive recommendations of specific exercises to compliment the work station changes.
Our Aquatic Therapy services
Being weightless in water allows you to improve strength and mobility with minimal pain from serious bone, joint or spinal problems. Whether you have arthritis, total joint replacements, spinal stenosis, fibromyalgia, or have had spinal surgery, you will benefit from aquatic therapy in Phelps’ state-of-the-art, 20’ x 40’ therapeutic, warm-water pool with its own underwater treadmill.
