We offer a variety of coordinated support services for you and your family

We know that cancer treatment is a journey, and our team is here for you. Undergoing cancer treatment can place a lot of stress on you and your body, but also on other aspects of your life and your family. Your care team at Phelps includes expert doctors and nurses as well as other professionals that can provide a variety of services to support you.

Our oncology nurse navigator will coordinate your care, help manage any issues that may arise during your treatment, and connect you to any programs and services you may need. Your nurse navigator will be a single point of contact for you and your family throughout your treatment journey, so you can focus on your health.

Our oncology nutritionist will help you adjust your diet before, during, and after treatment. Your nutritionist can help you manage treatment side effects, stay hydrated, and offer tips to help you maintain or gain weight.

An oncology social worker can help you overcome barriers that may be preventing your treatment, locate resources for you, and make necessary referrals. We can also help arrange transportation to get you to and from treatment appointments.

Dr. Anna Komorowski coordinates patient care with members of the medical oncology team at Phelps Hospital.

Our Physical Rehabilitation team will help you recover from your illness, as recommended in your personalized care plan to help you regain strength and feel better.

We offer a number of support groups at Phelps that can assist you with any emotional and mental effects of your condition. Joining a support group can help you connect with others who are going through the same experience and gain support along your journey.

If you’re concerned about paying for your care, we also provide resources for financial assistance, should you require it.
