A “Harvest Dinner” overlooking the Hudson River at the historic James House at Phelps Hospital will be held Thursday, October 13, from 5:30 to 8pm. The dinner will feature the work of Phelps’ Executive Chef Joe Syngjellari, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Guests can enjoy the extraordinary flavors of freshly picked produce and other locally produced foods, paired with wines from the Hudson Valley region for a special farm-to-table feast.
Featuring delicious, highly nutritional locally-grown ingredients, the “Harvest Dinner” complements Phelps’ commitment to helping people improve wellness through healthful eating. The event also supports local food producers by featuring their foods. Using skills acquired at the CIA, Chef Joe will demonstrate how to turn fresh bounty into a gourmet meal. Carefully selected wines will complement the flavor of the food, making the “Harvest Dinner” a wonderful gastronomic experience.
Dinner tickets are $75 per person and reservations are required as space is limited. For information and to purchase tickets, contact Cathleen Ernest at 914-366-3107 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
