VP and Associate Medical Director
As Vice President and Associate Medical Director, Robbins Gottlock, MD, oversees the hospital’s primary and specialty care medical group, Phelps Medical Associates, as well as the NYMC Phelps Family Medicine Residency Program, clinical trials and research, continuing medical education and clinical information technology.
Dr. Gottlock began his medical career in 2002 at Beth Israel Hospital (now Mount Sinai Beth Israel). While there, he earned an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. In 2010, he briefly left the medical field to serve as a business consultant for the global Boston Consulting Group, working with pharmaceutical, and biotech companies and health systems. He returned to Beth Israel in 2012, and led its 100-physician outpatient multispecialty medical group when it merged with Mount Sinai in 2014.
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Gottlock earned his medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency in Swedish Family Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. His special interests include adolescent, adult and LGBTQ health.
