Phelps Appoints new Medical Staff

Phelps Memorial Hospital Center announces the appointment of six physicians, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and an acupuncturist to its medical staff.
Dmitry Bolkhovets, MD, joins the Radiology Department. Dr. Bolkhovets was graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NY, NY, and is certified by the American Board of Radiology. His postgraduate training includes a General Surgery internship in at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY; a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, NY, NY; and a Body Imaging fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, NY, NY. His professional experience includes positions with Manhattan Diagnostic Radiology and the Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Bolkhovets has been published in the Textbook of Radiation Oncology.
Joshua H. Burack, MD, joins the Surgery Department, Section of Vascular/Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Burack was graduated from Yeshiva University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY, where he also completed his surgical internship and residency. His Cardiothoracic Surgery residency was completed at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, NY.
Lynn Clements-Northland, MD, joins the Radiology Department. Dr. Clements-Northland
was graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and maintains her
diplomate status with the American Board of Radiology and the National Board
of Medical Examiners. She is also holds memberships in the Radiological Society
of North America and the American College of Radiology. Dr. Clements-Northland
postgraduate training includes an internship at Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore,
MD; a Diagnostic Radiology residency and a Body Imaging Fellowship at the University
of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL. Her professional experience includes
a position with Radiology Associated of South Florida, South Miami Hospital,
Miami, FL; and a professorship in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of
Miami Hospital and Clinics, Miami, FL. Dr. Clements-Northland has articles published
in the American Journal of Radiology.
John Ditzenberger, MD, also joins the Radiology Department. Dr. Ditzenberger
was graduated from the Univ. of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey -Robert
Wood Johnson Medical School. His postgraduate training includes an internship,
Department of Internal Medicine, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick,
NJ; a residency in Diagnostic Radiology, St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston,
NJ, and a Fellowship in Body Imaging at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center, NY, NY.
Dr. Ditzenberger is certified by the American Board of Radiology and a member
of the American College of Radiology, the American Medical Association, Medical
Society of New Jersey and Radiological Society of North America.
Neal Goldberg, MD, joins the Department of Surgery, Section of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Goldberg was graduated from New York University School of Medicine, NY,
NY, where he also completed sub-internships in Plastic Surgery, Dermatology
and Internal Medicine. He competed his residency in General Surgery at the University
of Texas, Health Sciences Center, San Antonio, TX. His residency in Plastic
and Reconstructive Surgery were completed at Albert Einstein College of Medicine,
Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. Certified by the American Board of Plastic
Surgery, Dr. Goldberg holds memberships in the Rockland County Medical Society,
Medical Society of the State of New York, and the American Society of Plastic
Surgeons. His articles have appeared in the Journal of the American Academy
of Dermatology.
Lisa Palmer, NP, MS, BS, RN, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, joins the Department of Psychiatry. Palmer received her undergraduate degree, Master's and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degrees from Pace University. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of Nursing. She also held an Adjunct Professorship at Pace University where she supervised and instructed registered professional nursing students in the clinical setting. Prior to joining Phelps Palmer held positions at Sarah Neuman Center for Nursing Rehabilitation, The Wartburg, Skyview Healthcare Center, Four Winds and St. Barnabas Hospitals.
Jillian C. Schwartz, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M., a licensed acupuncturist, joins the Department of Anesthesiology. Schwartz received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Manhattan College, Riverdale, NY; a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Master of Professional Studies, With Distinction, in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her professional experience includes Sole proprietorship of a an acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine practice in Buchanan, NY; an Adjunct Professorship, Mercy College.
