Phelps Adds Two New Board Members

Kaveh Khosrowshahi, of Briarcliff Manor, and Franklin H. Zimmerman, MD, of Mt. Kisco, were recently named to the Phelps Memorial Hospital Center Board of Directors.
“Mr. Khosrowshahi and Dr. Zimmerman add tremendously to the Board’s skill set. Their respective business and medical expertise will assist Phelps as it continues to move forward,” said Keith Safian, FACHE, Phelps’ President and CEO.
Khosrowshahi is the Managing Director, Partner, and Head of Institutional Sales of Allen & Company in Manhattan. He has been with the firm since 1989. A graduate of the Hackley School, he received his undergraduate degree from Williams College, Williamstown, MA.
Zimmerman, whose practice is in Briarcliff Manor, is the Director of Specialty Care Units at Phelps and an attending cardiologist at Westchester County Medical Center and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Medical Center in Manhattan. He currently holds teaching positions at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Westchester County Medical Center. He is co-editor-in-chief of Heart & Health Reports, a bi-monthly, nationally distributed, newsletter; a member of the American Journal of Medicine & Sports Editorial Board and a reviewer of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Circulation, Postgraduate Medicine, International Journal of Cardiology.
