Pediatrics

The six-bed Pediatric Unit at Phelps is specially designed for the care of children with medical and surgical needs. The unit is staffed by trained pediatric nurses and permits full participation of parents in their child's care.

A unique service of Phelps' Pediatric Unit is the training and educating of insulin-dependent children and teens on the use of insulin pump therapy for diabetes.
