Memorial Sloan-Kettering at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, New York, provides outpatient cancer care. The alliance makes it easier for residents of Westchester County and nearby communities to access Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's world-renowned cancer care.

Patients can come to Memorial Sloan-Kettering at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center to receive medical-oncology and radiation-oncology services at Phelps' 69-acre campus. We have on-site facilities to make a proper diagnosis and to establish the extent of the disease, as well as to plan and deliver the proper course of therapy. The facility has everything patients need for each chemotherapy or radiation-therapy visit, including an on-site laboratory to provide pre-treatment blood test results. Patients who need more specialized care or certain diagnostic tests may go to Memorial Hospital for these procedures.

Oncology

The Medical Oncology unit is a 27-bed facility treating patients in all stages of cancer therapy. Patients come for diagnostic work-ups, monthly chemotherapy treatments and management of side effects. The nursing staff has received special education to assist patients in dealing with the problems that arise from the diagnosis of cancer.
