Overview
Respite Care is a place to turn for people with primary responsibility for the day-to-day care of another. It is a safe haven for individuals whose caretakers are temporarily unavailable, providing an environment that stresses comfort, safety and companionship. Caretakers can feel confident about taking a day off or spending time away while their loved one is under the care of our experienced nurses. Stays can be from one day to two weeks. Call (914) 366-3521 for more information.
Back to TopSeniors
Respite is appropriate for individuals aged 60 or older who are able to attend to most of their daily needs with a minimum of assistance.
Back to TopSpecial Needs
Special needs are met for individuals age 18 and older who require assistance with day-to-day activities or who need respirators, suctioning or tube feeding, wound or colostomy care, administration of medications, special diets or on-going therapies, as well as individuals with incontinence. Those with Alzheimer’s are evaluated on an individual basis.
