Overview
The IV Infusion Center helps patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis and other chronic inflammatory diseases, including psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and chronic juvenile arthritis, as well as chronic systemic disorders such as psoriasis, Crohn’s Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis. Outpatient infusion of other drugs such as antibiotics or Lyme Disease treatment is also available. A physician referral is required.
Back to TopBiologics
The center administers biologics to patients. Biologics, such as Remicade, inhibit the pro-inflammatory cells that are responsible for the destructive inflammatory process. Administered to patients by intravenous infusion, biologics significantly improve patients’ quality of life. Research has shown that patients with rheumatoid arthritis who receive treatment for an extended period of time (longer than 9 months) are approaching total remission of their illnesses. Biologics offer hope for better quality of life by reducing pain and disability.
